Virginia Tech's Advanced Research Institute (VT-ARI) is located at 4300 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA 22203, at the intersection of Wilson Boulevard and North Glebe Road. The Ballston Common Mall is in the adjacent building. VT-ARI's distinguished neighbors include the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA).

Driving from the East and the District of Columbia
Take I-395 South and cross the Potomac River via Memorial Bridge or 14th Street Bridge. Continue past Pentagon exits 9 and 10 and exit at Route 27 or Washington Boulevard. Continue for about 2 miles, turn left on Route 237 or 10th Street. Turn left at the intersection of Wilson Boulevard and continue until you reach 4300.

If coming via I-66 (Constitution Avenue), continue on I-66 West for half a mile and exit at Route 50 West. Stay on Route 50 West and exit at the 10th Street. Turn left at Wilson Boulevard and continue until you reach 4300. Alternatively, you can continue on I-66 West and take the exit to south Glebe Road (Route 120). Continue on Glebe Road and then left at Wilson Boulevard. VT-ARI is in the building at the intersection of Wilson and Glebe.

Driving from the West, via Interstate-66
If you are coming from Blacksburg, VA, or from I-81 and other western locations, take I-66 East into Arlington, and then take Exit 71 to Glebe Road. Turn right onto Glebe Road and then left at Wilson Boulevard. VT-ARI is in the building at the intersection of Wilson and Glebe.

Driving from Dulles Airport
Take the Dulles Toll Road to I-66 East. Continue on I-66 East and exit at Exit 71. Turn right onto Glebe Road and then left at Wilson Boulevard. VT-ARI is in the building at the intersection of Wilson and Glebe.

Transportation

• Metro Rail: VT-ARI's nearest metro station is the Ballston/MU Station which is served by the Orange line. VT-ARI is located a block's walk from the station. Take N. Taylor Street towards the Ballston Common Mall. Virginia Tech's Northern Virginia Center is also on the same line but 2 stations away at West Falls Church VT/UVA Metro Station.

Parking for Drivers
Parking is available at the basement of the building where VT-ARI is located. Fees are reasonable ranging from $1.00 for 3 hours to $7.00 for 8 hours. There are also a number of parking lots in the neighboring buildings including the Ballston Public Parking Garage at the mall.
