Senior Research Associate
The Virginia Tech Advanced Research Institute (ARI) is seeking a senior research associate to conduct research and develop proposal ideas and manage projects in the field of renewable energy, distributed generation, energy efficiency and climate change through discussion with colleagues, and private industry and federal agency contacts. Must have a doctorate degree in engineering and/or physical sciences. A lesser degree with significant relevant experience may be considered. Must have at least 5 years of experience in managing research projects in renewable energy, distributed generation, energy efficiency and climate change related topics.
