Abstract

The presentation is about the need for Internet and voice services in every underserved small town and village. It also says about the success stories in India and worldwide.It speaks about the technology which provides simultaneous voice and data from a single system at very affordable cost. The application is been successfully implemented in the areas of Agriculture, Telemedicine and various E-goverence applications.

Raghu Rao

Mr.Raghu Rao is a engineer from IIM, India, and MBA graduate with 25 years of International experience in telecommunication sector worldwide. He has done extensive research in rural telecommunication systems and successfully implemented various rural applications. He has extensive knowledge of the Bangladesh scenario as he was working for past for years in Telecom sector.
